The website PFL is a web based database special developed for port authorities in combination with agencies or ships. The database gives the possibility to fill in the following standard forms: (To add custom forms is also possible).

In combination with special excel documents, which you can send to the ships to fill in and to copy and paste easely the data into the database is overtyping of data reduced to a minimum.

With an e-mail message the port authorities will be notified that an new form added to the database. In this e-mail message the form will be presented, and by pressing a replay button a fixed replay message will be send to the agent or vessel. That means you finish checking and approving the form in only a few seconds.

The port authorities can arrange inside PFL all kinds of data for their own port like:

• Approve and disapprove new agency users.
• Create new port authority users.
• Insert local waste collectors.
• Berth names.
• Create or change vessel details. (The database includes more than 65000 vessels).
• Email message deliver scheme. Here can you can input several email addresses so the messages go to several persons. Waste to the waste department and ISPS to an other department ect.

You can also see in an overview which and how many ships have reported and al other statistics can be read from the database. To make custom figures or grafics is also possible.

All data inside the database are protected by username and password. Every 24 hours the provider makes a backup, and in the meantime all data which are send to the PFL database will also be saved on another provider.
