The website Portform-Link is a web based database special developed for port authorities in combination with agencies or ships. The database gives the possibility to fill in a large amount of standard forms: (Read about PFL.).

With the Digital Port Manager (DPM) extension of PFL you can trace all kind vessels in the port or who are approaching to the port.
Agencies or port authorities can create new visitors for the port with the New Voyage menu.
Here you fill in all kind of data and services like: bollards (automatically calculated the next bollard), pilot, line man's ect.
Three interactive pages give you the overview of the Expected, In Port and Departed vessels.
On these pages you see the most relevant data in one line. A red or green coloured field gives a clear picture.
If you click on the form fields it is shown directly the concerning forms.
To click on the voyage number the move field appears, here you can manage all the voyage details:
create or delete next movements, bollard changes, direct links to vessel details, agent or owner details, cargo, remarks etc.
There is also a possibility for a public page where a limited overview can be reflected.

There are also two skilful interactive graphics.
The examples we showed below are from the same time and same quay.
With mouse over events extra data appears and to click on the vessel the move field appears where you can change everything.
1) With the quay overview you see a schematic quay with the bollard numbers and the actual and expected ships.
2) The berth planner a schematic picture of de quay and the time reflects, and this makes it easier to plan vessels berthing
    in future and see the availability of the quay.
    The red line in this overview is the current time, and you see one day in the past and 12 day's in future.

If the ship has left the port you can lock the system so that there no more changes can be made.
A click on the button and invoice in pdf format will be created.

All kind off information can be added to the ship during the visit in port:
    • Movements between berth locations in the port.
    • Ordered services like Pilot, lines man, tugs, bollard numbers etc.
    • Several cargo transactions.
    • Other needs for the vessel like power, water ect.
    • Remarks due the visit in port.
    • And of course all the documents who are available in PFL.

The port authorities can arrange inside DPM all kind of data for there own port like:
    • Addresses of vessel owners, agencies.
    • Cargo names etc.
    • Berth names, length, bollard distance etc.
    • Create or change (inland) vessel details.
    • Create or change (inland) vessel details.
    • And much more.

All data inside the database are protected by username and password. Every 24 hours the provider makes a backup, and in the meantime all data which is send to the Portform-Link database will be also saved on another provider.
